OAKS portal to be open mid-February for PRF funds

On a call yesterday, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) shared that they anticipate launching Ohio's portal for assisted living providers to apply for provider relief funds appropriated in HB169 the second week of February. Assisted living providers will register with the OAKS system as suppliers, and the $33 million will be distributed on a per licensed bed basis. ODM plans education and outreach to providers in the coming weeks. 

All other provider types will receive relief funds as a Medicaid payment, via MITS for most providers.
